The Bible Jesus Read

April 5th - April 26th, 2017

Are you confused and disturbed by parts of the Old Testament? Its books comprise the majority of the Bible, but how should we read them?

Jesus read, used and loved the Old Testament. The Old Testament was the way to understand Him and the reason for his coming. It is the story of his passionate encounters with his people, and the prequel to the story of Jesus. We will look at seven representative books–Job, Psalms, Deuteronomy, Ecclesiastes, and the Prophets–and discover that the Old Testament is highly relevant and deals with the same questions we face today.

Join Pastor Dave as he facilitates this 4 week class.

This class is for people who are tired of playing it safe and desire to live a life that makes room for the daily workings of the Spirit. Tim Kong will seek to help the Jesus follower discover more about His identity, His work and His importance in our daily walk with God.

Halfmoon Starting Point Class - 4/12/16

April 12th, 2017

Faith has a Starting Point. We know that everything else has starting point (parenthood, our careers, etc), but sometimes we don't think about the fact that our faith had a starting point. Starting Point is a place where you get to hit the 'reset' button and ask the question, "What if we didn't know anything, where would we start? If we could start all over as adults, and ask the big questions about our faith, about our Bible, about God, where would we start?" Starting Point Class is a place where your questions about God turn into a conversation about faith.

Class begins Wednesday, April 12th from 6:30-8PM for 8 weeks.
