Women's Evening Bible Study (WEBS)

September 27th - November 15th, 2017

WEBS has filled up for the fall semester. However, there are plenty of other ministry opportunities available for you to join! For a list of our fall small groups visit this page

When we hear the name Gideon, most of us think about his 300 soldiers or a fleece spread beneath the evening sky. But Gideon's story is so much bigger than that. This is a story about God and His people—His love for them, as well as His strength operating in spite of, even through, their weakness.

This study will encourage you to recognize your weakness as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, learn to see them as the gifts given specifically and strategically by God. If you've ever felt insufficient, ill-equipped, incompetent, or outnumbered, this study is for you.

Come ready to participate in group discussion! Workbooks are available for purchase in the Cafe.

WED-06: Survey of the Old Testament

September 27th - November 15th, 2017

Taught by Pastor Doug Nelson

This will be a study of several of the books in the last half of the Old Testament beginning with the Psalms - many of which were written by King David the "Sweet Singer of Israel". Then we will draw wisdom from David's son Solomon - the "wisest man who ever lived" - by looking at Proverbs, Song of Solomon, and Ecclesiastes. If you think you've had a bad day you'll find yourself in good company with Job. We'll also observe Esther who was willing to put her life on the line to save her people from genocide. Finally we'll take up hammer, saw, and chisel with Ezra, Nehemiah, and the prophets Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi to assist the Jews who had returned from Babylonian exile to rebuild their lives and their nation out of the rubble of war.

Saratoga-Kaleo: Philippians

October 11th, 2017

Kaleo in the ancient greek language means to call out to God and also to be called by God. When we gather for a Kaleo Bible Study series, we do so calling out to God for more of Him; more of His presence in our lives. We primarily do this by learning together in a class setting but also through prayer and worship in the middle of our weeks. Kaleo is a time to call out to God intentionally through His Word.
